The summer is definitely in swing finally and this is the week of our Fourth of July celebration. Our independence celebration. I think of so many times that I have met people here in this country who have no idea of what it would be like to be free. They are trapped in jobs they don’t like. They lived in buildings that are far from rightly being called a home. The neighborhood they dwell in reminds me of a poorly budgeted Mad Max movie.
Why do we continue to accept things in our lives that our contrary to our best interest? During this week of celebrating our countries independence, please take a moment to think about the things that you have allowed in your live that don’t support who you are. Then take a stand! Decide on your first plan of action to make a change so that you will broach Independence Day in 2009 knowing that you are in control of your life and independence.
