Well, if we choose to sit around on the couch and watch potato TV, then we have no right to complain. What it boils down to is we have no one but ourselves to blame for our situation. We’ve been hearing about the possible “r” word ever since Bush took the Presidency. But most become so complacent and comfortable. We can’t imagine that our cozy lifestyle could be threatened.
